Robot assembly - Part02 Install operating system for the CPU control

PSU, CPU, Wireless card, web-cam USB and fan cooling system is now in place. Also mounted a fuse to the main power supply line 12VDC.

To the left side-down is a connector to plug-in the 12VDC battery charger. Also connected a special circuit to protect CPU from the charger, once the charger is connected to the battery the CPU will be isolated from the charging process (required to prevent CPU or board damage).

Mounting the hard-drive to the robot base

3 High power white LEDS to be used for night vision

Mounting the 12VDC battery for the main power supply (PSU) and attach the supports. The inner space is now reduced!

Mounting the 6VDC 4.5Ah battery to drive the electric motors (2 wheels). Now I really don’t have any more inner space!

Still need to install Operating System and all necessary drivers! Also missing H-Bridge interface for the DC engines and Microchip PIC for the interface between PC and sensors/interfaces.

    i’m interested in robotic projects. i’m a final year student of btech electronics and communication. we have to do a project in this semester. we are planned to make a flying robot with 4 rotors. could u help us to make it real? i think……
    at this stage of our project ,we are in a hurry.i.e.,how to control the speed of 4 motors using a pic. plz help us…..
